Hellblade creator Ninja Theory tweeted that they will be donating $50K to Mental Health America if Hellblade hits $100K for the Xbox One release which comes out tomorrow.
The game was originally exclusive to PS4 and PC, but it launched on PC today and Ninja Theory say they will donate money to Mental Health America if it sells a certain amount of copies by April 18.
In October last year, Ninja Theory donated money to a similar UK charity for Mental Health Awareness Day, which is why a US charity was chosen this time. If Hellblade sells 50,000 copies by April 18 on Xbox One, the studio will donate $25,000 to the charity. If it hits 100,000 sales, Ninja Theory will donate $50,000. They tweeted
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice itself features a psycho-driven protagonist. So it kinda makes sense for Ninja Theory to donate money to a mental hospital.
