Hitman 2 officially announced

The developer of the game has been teasing Hitman reveal for a while, with a tweet asking players to tune in to a Warner Bros. livestream on June 7. But we got something completely unexpected!

Shortly after the site went live, the logo for Hitman 2 was accessible before Warner removed it. The stream is still running footage of what looks to be a race garage, with the logo for Hamsun – a fictional company in the game’s universe.

The logo (via ResetERA) which confirms the game will be called Hitman 2. It’s not clear if this means we should expect a completely different game from the original, or if that’s simply what IO is going with for the title of its second season.
