Nier: Automata, one of 2017’s best games, is returning in the form of two short stories:- Nier: Automata: Long Story Short and Nier: Automata: Short Story Long.
Both the books are to be released in English over the next year.
Nier: Automata: Long Story Short is a novel set to release in October 2018. A Long Story Short is the novelization of Nier: Automata. However it may include unknown details and character thoughts.
Nier: Automata: Short Story Long will be released in Spring 2019. This will be a collection of short fiction and novellas set in the Nier universe.
Short Story Long may include two original stories: “Emil’s Recollection” and “YoRHa Ver. 1.05.” only if it is same as Japanese one. Five previously released stories will appear alongside the two new ones: “The Flame of Prometheus,” “Orbital Bunker Observation Diary,” “Memory Thorn,” “A Much Too Silent Sea” and “Small Flowers.”
Both Long Story Short and Short Story Long were penned by novelist Jun Eishima and Nier creator Yoko Taro and have already been released in Japan. The paperback for Nier: Automata: Long Story Short will cost $14.99 and be published by Viz Media on Oct. 9, 2018.
