According to Korean publication ET News, LG Display will be supplying OLED display panels to Huawei.
Huawei has decided to use LG Display's flexible recently launched OLED panels for the building its super luxurious ‘Porsche Design’ Mate RS. LG has managed to combine the OLED panel and on-screen fingerprint reader in a single module. So this will be something you can expect from Huawei's next smartphone.
For the uninitiated, Huawei Mate RS was launched alongside P20 and P20 Pro and is one of the most premium devices to ever be launched by the Chinese company. It features a 6-inch curved OLED display and surprisingly two fingerprint sensors.
We can safely assume that the partnership amount would not be a lot considering that Huawei Mate RS itself is a very expensive smartphone.
