The official Battlefield has been giving clues on Twitter about Battlefield 5. Battlefield 5 will be out this year, and it seems we’ll get our first look at the game on May 23, according to various teases.
The latest tease was posted by DICE on the official Battlefield Twitter account, where the studio tweeted a string of Morse code, which translates as:
Good work, but this is just the beginning. The Battlefield will never be the same.
Rumors and leaks over the past few months suggest Battlefield 2018 is set during World War 2, and that it will be titled Battlefield V. It’s been said the game could feature a battle royale mode, but DICE has yet to confirm that.
EA said during its latest call to investors, the game will feature a new mode that’s “unique and brings new challenges,” contain multiple maps and modes for multiplayer, and a single-player campaign, which Black Ops 4 may not have.
